Installation Precautions for Vibration-Damping Expansion Joints (YTJZ)

　　Preparation Before Installation

　　Model Verification: Carefully check whether the model and specifications of YTJZ are consistent with the design requirements, ensuring that all parameters of the expansion joint, such as pressure rating, compensation amount, size, etc., meet the actual needs of the pipeline system.

　　Appearance Inspection: Check whether the appearance of the expansion joint is damaged, whether the elastic components have cracks or damage, whether the connecting parts are secure, and whether the vibration reduction device is intact. If any issues are found, they should be replaced or repaired promptly.

　　Cleaning Work: Clean up debris, rust, oil stains, etc., at the pipeline connection points to ensure that the connection surfaces are clean and flat, ensuring sealing after installation.

　　Key Points of the Installation Process

　　Correct Installation Direction: Strictly determine the installation direction according to the product description and design requirements, paying attention to the flow direction markings of the expansion joint to ensure consistency with the flow direction of the medium in the pipeline.

　　Avoid Twisting and Stretching: During the installation process, prevent YTJZ from being twisted, stretched, or excessively compressed to avoid affecting its normal performance. The axis of the expansion joint should be kept concentric with the axis of the pipeline during installation to avoid deviation.

　　Connection Tightening: Use appropriate tools and methods to securely connect YTJZ with the pipeline. For flange connections, ensure that the sealing gaskets between the flanges are installed correctly, and that the bolts are tightened evenly to reach the specified torque value; for welded connections, ensure the quality of the welding to avoid issues such as false welding or leakage.

　　Setting Supports and Hangers: Set supports and hangers reasonably according to the design requirements of the pipeline system. The supports and hangers should be installed in the correct position and be able to effectively bear the weight of the pipeline and the expansion joint, avoiding deformation or damage to the expansion joint due to gravity.

　　Post-Installation Debugging

　　Check Connection Points: After installation is complete, check all connection points again to ensure they are tightened and show no signs of looseness.

　　Pressure Testing: Conduct pressure testing according to relevant standards and specifications to check the sealing and pressure resistance of the expansion joint and the entire pipeline system. During the testing process, closely observe the deformation of the expansion joint; if any abnormalities occur, stop the test immediately, investigate the cause, and take appropriate action.
